Spent the weekend building a Bitcoin miner on my M1 Pro — talking to Grok by voice in the Tesla, then Grok Bot wrote every line. I didn’t touch the code.

Pure ARM64 assembly on Apple’s SHA crypto instructions. Started ~21 MH/s on one thread. Ended ~125 MH/s offline / ~100 MH/s…
What software engineers are for when machines can write the code.
A weekend project: an educational Bitcoin SHA-256d miner for Apple Silicon (M1 Pro / ARM64). The hash path is pure ARM64 assembly; C is the harness and Stratum. Learning and correctness, on testnet only.
I talked it through with Grok — voice in the Tesla, and Grok Bot. I didn't write the code.
I'm always looking for collaborators at the intersection of technology and education. If you're building something new — or want to — reach out.
